Gerard Coutts & Associates’ study of global practices took Gerard Coutts to London in September 2009 where he observed the modulated and pre-fabricated construction forms relating to transport and infrastructure.
While in Britain, Gerard perceived a more robust appreciation of technologies and techniques and returned with a range of insights for a broad range of local audiences including: universities, local government, NFPs, academics and developers.
This knowledge is now being transformed into a paper that will soon be available.
Some of these findings show that Australia has lagged behind and GCA believes that having undertaken this research the firm is now well-placed to influence policy and future planning on client projects as well as formulating material for training and teaching platforms.
