The Brief:
GCA was engaged by a group of nine landowners to achieve the inclusion of their collective properties within the Melbourne Metropolitan Urban Growth Boundary.
The Challenge:
The Outcome:
GCA exploited an opportunity that planners and developers had failed to recognise. By using a land-aggregation approach, we devised a legal solution which enabled landowners to function as a single entity. The resulting model is highly regarded by government agencies.
The land was successfully included in the UGB in July 2010.
