Inspiring Industry Stars of the Future

Gerard Coutts, Managing Director of Gerard Coutts & Associates has just completed another successful semester lecturing at RMIT University, Melbourne. The course titled “Construction Enterprise” is a fourth year undergraduate subject in the School of Property, Construction and Project Management.

The course introduces students to construction, development and the consulting industry at an organizational level. It focuses on the financial, business principles and practices required to manage a successful construction business together with best practice management principles for organizational and project making decisions. The course aims to make students “industry ready” and well equipped with advanced skills, insights and up-to-date with the latest industry trends. This continued involvement at a tertiary level is part of GCA’s ongoing commitment to the educational sector. Through teaching and mentorship GCA seeks to inspire the professionals of the future and remain active in industry related learning and innovation.
