Little Allegra's Afternoon Tea Party

Staff at GCA joined other community members at a special afternoon tea party hosted by The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne. The event was held to celebrate the fighting spirit of a very brave little three year old, Allegra Fewson Ward who was diagnosed in 2012 with an extremely rare form of leukaemia that affects one person in two million. Allegra is currently in remission, but every day is a blessing as her condition is graded as high risk. The Windsor donated 100% of the ticket price to a benefit fund that has been set up in Allegra’s name for her ongoing recovery.
